In this article, we will look at some questions to determine the need for high performance computing and deep learning, as well as HPC workloads (high performance computing). Consequently, companies today are faced with greater computational and graphics requirements as more and more complex computational models are deployed. Despite these continually increasing demands, CPU technology is not able to keep up with the increasing demands in this market. As part of HPE’s commitment to bringing GPU computing into their server families, NVIDIA is introducing its Accelerators for HPE ProLiant servers. In any application that requires high levels of application acceleration, like deep learning, scientific research, or commercial purposes, the NVIDIA Accelerators developed for high-performance, energy-efficient supercomputing offer significant performance gains over traditional CPU-only approaches. Because of the thousands of NVIDIA CUDA® cores that are present in each accelerator, these accelerators are able to divide up large computing and graphics tasks into smaller functions that can be executed concurrently, for example, simulating the traffic on a highway in less time and obtaining higher graphics quality for complex models in 3D.
